MAIBA STANDS IN SOLIDARITY
MAIBA condemns the atrocities that took place in Atlanta this week, and stands in solidarity with our Asian and Asian American colleagues, neighbors, friends, and community. The increasing level of violence and hate crimes directed at Asian and Asian American individual and communities is cause for alarm and action. The Minnesota American Indian Bar Association is firmly committed to inclusion and support of our Asian and Asian American communities in Minnesota and throughout the country.
The Minnesota Asian Pacific American Bar Association (MNAPABA) is hosting a listening session for its members, as well as providing information on other open events and resources. Details are below. Please feel free to share this information widely among your network.
MNAPABA Listening Session for Recent Anti-Asian Hate Crimes | March 18, 5:00-6:00 pm
MNAPABA members and families are invited to gather in a safe space to discuss or find support. There will be another listening session in a few weeks for those unable to attend on short notice. Please email mnapaba@gmail.com for zoom details.

Over the past year, a disturbing wave of anti-Asian violence has been on the rise, with an increase in hate crimes, harassment, and violence. MAIBA stands with the Asian community and condemns all forms of Anti-Asian racism.
