Judicial Boot Camp for American Indian Lawyers and Judges
Preparing Our Best and Brightest
A half-day judicial workshop for American Indian lawyers and judges interested in learning more about applying to the state or federal judiciary
Workshop sessions are designed to foster the professional development of American Indian lawyers and judges, with topics presented by members of the Commission on Judicial Selection, federal judiciary search committees, and distinguished members of the Minnesota legal and judicial community.
Track A: For those with ten years or more experience who would consider applying now for a vacancy on the federal bench or state appellate courts. Topics include Federal Bench, State Appellate Courts, and Branding.
Track B: For those in practice ten years or more with an interest in serving on the bench at some point in the future. Topics include State Bench, Branding, and Character.
Track C: For those with less than ten years’ experience who want to know more about applying for a judicial vacancy in the future. Topics include Relationships, Character, and Resume.
